A strong conservative consensus exists to reform or outright repeal ownership limits on broadcasting. One example is the national ownership cap, which applies only to local TV stations preventing them from reaching more than 39% of households. While Big Hollywood and Big Tech are allowed unfettered growth, the local TV stations bringing us fact-based community news is shackled by decades old rules. It’s time for Washington to act and lift the cap.
